Second Chance 2

  Impmon rubbed his shoulders and stared up at the moon. He shivered and sneezed. " Why'd it have to be in the middle of winter!" he cried. He walked through the empty streets and looked around. No one... He sighed, " No Ai, no Mako, no anybody..." He sniffed and coughed a few times. Impmon gazed up at the stars, " Can anyone find me?"
Meanwhile...
  Mako tossed and turned. " You can blast all the bad guys with it!" " Mako...Awesome!" Impmon grabbed the toy gun out of his tamer's hand, " They won't know what hit 'em!" " We sure love you," Ai said giving him a kiss. They watched Impmon race off and digivolve. -flash- Beelzemon was falling while his data was ebbing away. " IMPMON!" the two siblings cried. Mako sobbed in his sister's arms. " Gramma! We need subway tickets for home!" Ai cried. Their grandmother smiled, " Here, I knew you'd want to go home sooner or later." Mako led the way, " Impmon's hurt!" -flash- He knew this wasn't another memory. Impmon was freezing in the snow, he must've been looking around for someone...anyone to help or find him. Mako suddenly sat up, " I gotta tell Ai!" He pulled his coat on and raced to his sister's room with hers.
Meanwhile...
  Ai tossed in her bed as well. " No Ai, no Mako, no anybody..." Impmon gazed up at the stars. " Ai...Ai....AI WAKE UP!" Mako shook her  until her eyes opened, " Okay Mako, I'm up!" " Did you have a dream about him too?" Mako asked tossing her her coat. Ai nodded and pulled it on, " Let's go find him." He smiled, " Don't worry Impmon, we're coming!" She nodded and followed her brother once again. They quietly slunk out of the house.
Meanwhile...
  Impmon sighed and sat down in an alleyway, his body was so numb he didn't feel the cold any longer. " Crap, I'm going to freeze into a block of ice out here. I'm just a stupid little pipsqueak all alone in this freaking alley with nothing to keep warm," he sighed, " I should've known." He was about to curl up in the snow when he heard, " IMPMON!....IMPMON WHERE ARE YOU?!" " Ai? Mako?" he immediately jumped up, " Ai?! Mako?! Guys?! I'm comin!" " Impmon!" Ai cried racing to him and giving him a hug, " I knew we'd find you! Aw, you're freezing." She unzipped her coat and cradled him inside close to where her heart was, " There, now you're all warm, and snuggly, right?" Impmon was already snoozing. Ai smiled and knew he was already nice and warm. Mako smiled as Ai zipped her coat just a bit, letting Impmon's head stick out. They got home as fast as they could and immediately went to bed so they wouldn't have to explain things to their parents.
Meanwhile...
  " NO BEELZEMON!" Gallantmon cried reaching towards him. Beelzemon groaned in pain as his data ebbed away. " What's he doing? Pull up!" Rika cried. Sakuyamon tried to race to his aid, but was grabbed by tentacles. " BEELZEMON, YOU HAVE TO PULL UP!" she cried. He just barely opened his eyes and tried to spread his wings, but cried out in pain, " It's over for me, just save Jeri!" He moaned as he opened one eye and watched the d-reaper get closer and closer. " I failed...Ai, Mako, Jeri...I'm sorry." He fell into the d-reaper. Impmon jerked awake and flailed around, " AI! MAKO!" " Shh, It's okay Impmon," Ai held him close and Impmon started breathing heavily. " I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, Ai can you and Mako forgive me?" Impmon cried. Ai looked at him confused, " What did you do?" Impmon twiddled his thumbs, " I ran away from home and killed someone." His eyes were overflowing, " I'm sorry!" Ai watched sadly as she started crying too, " Oh Impmon." She hugged him, " It's okay, it's over now, you have a second chance, no we have a second chance." Impmon buried his face in her shirt and broke down, " Ai..."
